Dear All,

Isaiah 55:10-11 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Today was an incredible day from the Lord as the city of Boston (and most of New England) was baptized by snow, in some areas over 3 feet! But that didn’t stop the saints from worshiping our Father in Heaven, even if that mean 11 different “House Churches”! Here is some good news regardless of the weather conditions:

Good News from Back Bay:

John 1:40-42 “Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus.”

This scripture came true today at our house church service! Our dear brother Brian Carr preached a great sermon before getting the honors of baptizing his older brother Kevin in the refreshing water trough in our living room! (You know you’re a preacher when you have a Baptismal in your living room!) Kevin is a “great-hearted” man from Louisiana and came to visit Boston last Saturday, initially for only one week. However, after seeing the love of the disciples, their daily life and their love for God, Kevin decided to study the Bible every day for the week he was visiting. At the end of his Bible studies he informed us that he already cancelled his flight back as he is now looking for a job in Boston, because he is here to stay!  What a great testimony to God about his desire for physical brothers to be spiritual brothers in His Kingdom! To our Father be all the glory!

Luke Bergeron shares Good News all the way from New Hampshire:

It was Jess and I with our two kids for house church today! It was really nice to be with just my family as I was away for two nights and three days at my annual ice fishing trip returning home last night. We listened to an amazing sermon from Kip entitled Grace. It really hit home. If I had to take away one point from the sermon it would be Kip’s comment (not word for word) “How much time and effort you put into the kingdom directly reflects how grateful you are for Jesus sacrifice and his Grace.” God also put it on my heart a desire support the Las Vegas ICC Inaugural service as I have a brother who lives out there. The news of Kevin Carr getting Baptized really drove it home as he reminds me of my brother in Las Vegas. God is also moving in our hearts as we search for our new home in Massachusetts. Please pray for us in this.

Melissa Jerez shares Good News from Revere:

Today was truly a historic day, as the Boston International Christian Church had it’s first all Spanish service. God allowed my husband to preach an awesome message about the storms in our lives. He challenged us to learn from God’s discipline so that we can get peace from God during emotional and physical storms in our lives.  I am super grateful that God has provided awesome technology and allowed our dear sister Lilian Bencosme to join us via phone. Today marks the start of something amazing. Lilian says “es el primero de muchos”, this is the first of many Spanish worship services for God here in the Iglesia Cristiana Internacional de Boston (Boston ICC). Te amamos con el amor del Senior, we love you with the love of the Lord. And to God be all the glory.

Good News from Stoneham:

The DiFusco house church had an awesome time of singing, praying and getting into God’s Word. Sal preached an interactive sermon on how the spiritual storms affect our lives and the choice we can make to either build our lives on the sand of the world or the rock of Jesus Christ. Members shared reflections on God’s Word and it was especially great to hear Gianni DiFusco really contributing to the discussion. Both of the DiFusco brothers Gianni and Marco were present. Marco has been hesitant to come to church for months but was at the restoration of his mother Jen DiFusco a couple of weeks back where he was in tears. He has since come to the Superbowl Party and now church today which is proof of God’s power!

Jibreil Graham shares Good News from Dorcester:

Hebrews 10:25 “Lets us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but lets us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Even the snow couldn’t keep disciples from meeting up to worship God today as we had House Church Service! We pack into the sister household living room to praise God with all our hearts! I preach a lesson title “Hold to the Word” where we look at Jeremiah 36 and ask what are things people try to “cut” from the Word! We can’t wait to join the body as a whole!

Frank Hines also shares from Dorcester:

It was great to have a family service where all of my family members participated.  Daniel did the songs, Cydnee helped organize communion, David did the communion message, and I was able to share powerful about loving God as a family and individually.

After the service we were able to conclude our day of honoring God by helping our neighbors shovel snow.  We were able to dig out Dana a single mom, Russell our State Trooper, Martha a 86 year old widow, our second floor neighbor Erin, and two of our neighbors which both have newborns.  We all pitched in to make sure that all of our neighbors who had cars or needed to be dug out got the help of God.

It was a great serving God and our neighbors.  To God be the glory!

Let us all continue to worship God and share his message with all who have not heard! Please continue to pray for our Men’s Forum on March 16th 2013 also for our Women’s Day on September 14th 2013! Let us continue to worship God for what he is doing here in Boston and around the world in His Sold Out Movement!
